Ekoraj Ďurďové is an organic farm nestled in the picturesque surroundings of the Strážovské vrchy mountains in western Slovakia. Founded in 2014, the farm was built on a single vision: to bring the taste of nature and genuinely healthy food directly to consumers‘ tables. The farm’s cattle graze freely on organically managed meadows for most of the year, which is reflected in the exceptional quality of both their dairy and meat products. Alongside milk processing, Ekoraj Ďurďové has grown into a full agritourism destination, offering horseback riding, fishing, and a contact minizoo for visitors seeking an authentic connection with nature.
The dairy operation at Ekoraj processes 200 litres of milk per day, producing a wide range of artisan products: fresh milk, yoghurts, cream cheese with and without herbs, curd cheese, semi-hard cheese, Halloumi, and traditional steamed cheeses. At the heart of this production is a complete set of Plevnik equipment, which allows the farm to handle every step of the cheesemaking process with precision, efficiency, and ease of use.
