Lässer’s Schlösslehof, Austria

Dairy Lässer’s Schlösslehof, a third-generation family business, has undergone impressive development since it was founded in 1962 by Jodok Lässer. Under the management of Armin Lässer, the farm developed into a successful dairy farm. Stefan Lässer has been running the business since 2003 and has started direct marketing, making the farm a modern and innovative company.

Agriculture in harmony with nature

The farm’s animals graze on 40 hectares of grassland, while 30 hectares of forest are used for self-sufficiency with firewood. An additional two hectares of bedding area offer the animals a comfortable and hygienic living space. The farm has 30 cows, one bull and seven calves, which are kept appropriately and eat exclusively hay and grass. This natural feeding enables the production of high-quality organic milk.

Diversity and quality in animal husbandry

In addition to the dairy cows, the farm is also home to five rabbits, three cats and two runner ducks, which contribute to natural pest control. This diversity shows the farm’s commitment to sustainable and environmentally friendly agriculture.

Traditional dairy with a modern approach

Fresh dairy products such as curd cheese, yoghurt and various types of cheese are produced daily in the farm’s own dairy equiped with Plevnik devices; Cheese kettle SKH 500 EW Proffesional, Pastureizer P 500 EW Professional and Pneumatic draining system POS 50, that serve them well. Great emphasis is placed on traditional methods and natural ingredients, which results in cheese specialties of high quality and special taste.

Direct marketing and customer proximity

The Lässer Hof’s products are not only offered in the farm’s own shop, but are also delivered to regional markets and selected shops. This direct marketing enables a close relationship with customers and guarantees products whose origin is valued.

Invitation to enjoyment

The farm offers a lovingly prepared breakfast board upon reservation, as well as various sandwiches and homemade cakes. The diverse range ranges from fresh milk and yoghurt to high-quality sausages, cheese variations and a selection of jams, honey and oils.

Dairy Lässer’s Schlösslehof stands for passion, quality and tradition. With a diverse offering and a strong focus on sustainability and customer proximity, the farm is a prime example of modern and responsible agricultural entrepreneurship.
