Jan Brauer, Germany

Jan Bauer lives on a farm in Daskow, northern Germany. On their farm, they started milking goats 20 years ago. That’s when they started with two goats. Today, about 60 of them are milked every day. The farm also deals with cows, pigs and poultry, sheep milking, and is best known for the production of goat cheese.

Jan produces cheese known in the region as Daskow cheese. He remembers that the beginnings of selling cheese were a little harder, but because he had good products, customers multiplied quickly. He now sells most of his cheese products at nearby hotels. The hotels then offer cheeses in various versions.

In his dairy, he uses the pasteurizer P 200 HW PRO, with which he manages to produce all excellent types of cheese as well as all types of fresh cheese, such as natural, herbal, garlic and pepper, which is also the favorite cheese of the farm owner.
